Basic Grey
Ok, I’ll admit it. I’m a collector of Basic Grey. I can’t help pawing it at Recollections, and I can’t help taking it to the counter, and I can’t help buying it even when I have no immediate use for it. Then I get it home and I can’t help wanting to hoard it. Sometimes, I’ll pull out my stash and then not allow myself to use it. I make myself wait for the perfect pictures. WHY? It’s an illness, I suppose. I could always go down and buy more if I use up what I have. Like I said, I’m a collector.
Sunday afternoon, I scrapped with friends. When I pulled this paper to use, I got all giddy and giggly. It was PERFECT!! I didn’t hesitate to chop right into it. But now I have this really pressing need to restock the four sheets. What is WRONG with me?

What do you mean? Isn’t Basic Grey paper for handling, drooling and collecting? You mean that I have to use it, cut it up, stick it down! Really? I.had.no.idea. I guess that’s why it is still sitting the way I received it - hasn’t even made it to my craft room.

I finally gave in and cut my first piece of Basic Grey this weekend! I have been hoarding all the lines forever and this weekend I used my Color Me Silly pack…but boy was a sparing with it. Great layout Stacy!

I love this layout. I too am a collector of Basic Grey, Cosmo Cricket and all the paper that even looks similar to Basic Grey. MUST GET NEW PAPER!

I love Basic Grey too…such great color and texture in their papers. But I have to say that I force myself to use my stuff. Like today when I started a CJ…instead of going out to buy something new, I used what I had. It feels good and helps clear out space for the new stuff!
