Hometown Tourist - Fort Worth (completed)

by

I spent about 14 hours working on this little album for the PTA Silent Auction. I hope it draws enough bids to make some money for Aidan’s school! I seriously might bid on it myself. I wanna keep it!

I couldn’t find an 8×8 album that I liked, so I made one with chipboard and ribbon. :)
(More about making it next time!)

My favorite page is the Japanese Garden one. Love, love, love the colors. :)

Inspiring and beautiful. I may have to do one of our hometown sometime.

There is definitely a reason you get paid to make people’s scrapbooks!! That is AWESOME!! I’d be bidding on it too, if I’d made it myself. Can’t wait to hear how much it raises!

That’s so cool! My mom wanted an item in a silent auction once, I mean really wanted this thing so my aunt bid for her. Her bid was literally “$5 higher than the highest bid”…she won! Just a tidbit for ya…

Wow! That is beautiful! I would never have thought of this kind of theme album, but it’s a great idea and you carried it out wonderfully.

I can’t say it enough — I LOVE.LOVE.LOVE this album. I think there’s an entire niche of people out there who would love an album in this style. You could go hog-wild and try other areas. Being the generous person I am, I’ll through out an idea. . . try doing a West Texas album next. Maybe, just maybe, some West Texan would see it and want it for their own. . . don’t know who, just sayin’! If you don’t know what to put in the West Texas album for those poor unfortunate souls way out there, I’ll help you with the landmarks so you don’t have to do all the footwork.

No kidding — Stacy, you do the most amazing and beautiful work!! Keep it up! And if those people at the silent auction don’t know how amazing this is, somebody someday will tell ‘em when they see your beautiful work of art.

Excuse, and what you think concerning forthcoming elections?
