Scrapbooking Resolutions

by

1. Keep my studio tidier.
2. Clean up and reorganize after each project.
3. Keep regular scrapbooking hours. If I don’t have a paid job to be working on, work on my own photos during those “office hours”.
4. Submit for publication. I’ve always wanted to, but I’ve never gone to the trouble of doing it.
5. Participate in one class/new challenge per month, whether it’s online or at a local scrapbook store.
6. Update my business site on a more regular basis. (www.stacykocur.com)
7. When I’m hosting a Fortress scrapbook ministry crop, do NOT work on a job - instead, work on Fortress photos or my own.
8. Send physical thank-you notes for every donation to the ministry.
9. Finish the charity albums I’ve promised, and take on more charity projects when those are done.
10. Page protect and add pages to my albums as they’re completed instead of stacking them in “the pile”.
11. Write daily, M-F, for this blog, and categorize each post for ease in searching.

What are YOUR scrapbooking resolutions? Make them doable so you won’t be immediately overwhelmed by them. What will help you be a better memory keeper? Think about it, write ‘em down, then share ‘em with me. Let’s keep each other accountable to our scrapbooking goals this year!

  1. Rebecca in NC Says:

I would have to say to print up my favorite did pics from DH’s camera each month instead of every 6 months - that way I’ll be able to do a steady amount of pages instead of a marathon of them.

  2. Tonya Says:

Journal, Journal, Journal. I have the “pile” of pages that are sitting here finished except for journaling.

  3. Jenny Says:

Actually assemble albums. They are all sitting in piles in PowerSort boxes.

This year I will finish the final touches and get 4 albums or more on the shelf.

  4. Karen B Says:

I will make a wedding album before my 6th anniversary. I will start using 1 or 2 of my existing stamps, dies, punches, stensils, etc a month, trying to use a different one each month. I will go through my supplies and weed out what I won’t use and donate them to people who need them.

  5. Diane (CMCEmmylou) Says:

Rediscover why I got into scrapbooking … that I have a story to tell :)

Oh, and keep my stuff organized!

  6. Kendra Says:

Finish albums! I keep albums on my bookcase even before they are finished. I think all of my albums have at least one page that needs a title, a page protector, or even entire layouts where currently a post-it resides.
